About:
Daito is a matcha tea brand inspired by Japanese art and culture revolving around tea. 'Daito' in Japanese means a sword - which is inspired by the consumption of tea in the morning - makes you sharp as a sword.
Objective:
The primary objective of this project was to design the logo and a suggestive branding route. The inspiration for the logo and the colour palette comes from Japanese tea ceremony, architecture and the Japanese tea mountains. The idea for the main logo comes from the alphabets, keeping in mind the brand language as sustainable.
